#CANADA: Liberal Party Wins National Election; Justin Trudeau Becomes Prime Minister With Majority Government

Canadians went to the polls yesterday and elected a Liberal majority government and a new Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, ending 10 years of Conservative government under PM Stephen Harper. The New Democratic Party, once seen as a contender, crumbled into distant Third Party status.
