A St. Petersburg city legislator has suggested banning Russians from owning or renting homes and apartments in Turkey under the threat of substantial fines. Deputy Vladimir Petrov fears property there may be confiscated and sold by Turkey to support ISIS terrorist, an accusation colored by the tensions between the two nations since the downing of a Russian jet by Turkey.
