[world politics news]
Spain's King Felipe VI has signed a decree dissolving parliament and calling elections for June 26. It will be the country's second general election in six months, following months of unsuccessful attempts to form a coalition government among two established parties and two upstart parties, none of which gained a solid majority. It is the first time that Spain will repeat elections since the country returned to democracy following the death of long-time dictator General Francisco Franco in 1975.
