Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has dissolved both houses of parliament and has called for a July 2 election, firing the starting gun on a 55-day election campaign, placing jobs, growth and economic management at the heart of his re-election pitch. Turnbull's legislation has been stalled in the Senate.
