The Netherlands' anti-Islamic Freedom Party is polling higher following the Paris terrorist attacks Polling shows it taking more than 30 seats in the 150-member parliament. The Governing Liberal and Labour parties would take just 28 between them. Freedom Party head Geert Wilders said the West was "at war" with Islam.

Rallies to support freedom of the press are planned today in Paris after three Muslim Extremists attacked a magazine office today. Twelve people, including the cartoonists and at least one policeman, were killed. The magazine had lampooned the Prophet Muhammad with a series of cartoons.

Media watchdog group Reporters Without Borders expressed "deep concern" after a secret military court sentenced a Tunisian blogger to 3 years in jail for "defaming" military officials. Blogger Yassine Ayari had accused them of financial abuse. He was not in attendance, and learned of it only upon returning to Tunisia.
