Opposition supporters burnt tires in Zimbabwe's capital, Harare today, blocking some streets and engaging in running battles with police who fired water cannon to disperse protesters contesting the results of Monday's election, in which the ruling party claimed victory. International election observers and opposition leader Nelson Chamisa of the Movement for Democratic Change both questioned the results, Chamisa calling the results "rigged" in favor of the Zanu-PF Party.
