Victoria's Premier Daniel Andrews is urging Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to avoid a "damaging" plan to hold a public referendum on Same-Sex marriage. Turnbull just won a razor-thin re-election campaign and has repeatedly blocked a free vote on the issue in parliament.
