#POLAND: Minimum Wage Set To Rise; Gov't Hopes To Put End to "Gravely Dysfunctional" Compensation

Poland's Lower House of Parliament has passed a bill raising the minimum wage for casual and self-employed workers to 12 Polish Zlotys (2.73 Euros) per hour as of 2017. Labour Minister Elżbieta Rafalska said she hopes the bill "will put an end to gravely dysfunctional compensation patterns in Poland."
