Former Green Party parliamentary candidate Monika Schaefer, has been forced out as a candidate and expelled from the national party after she made a video denying that the Nazi Holocaust ever happened. Her expulsion came after she made a YouTube video in which the first-generation Canadian apologized to her long-dead, German-born mother for scolding her ignorance of the Holocaust, which she now calls a "six-million lie." Green Party Leader Elizabeth May says she is "shocked" by her statements.
