Venezuela has written to fellow Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries requesting an emergency meeting as the continued collapse in crude prices hurts the group’s most vulnerable members. Venezuela has repeatedly called for OPEC members to meet as slumping oil prices sap government revenue.
