Prime Minister Boris Johnson kicked off the UK's election today by saying "hundreds of billions" in pent up investment will be poured into the UK if British voters put their trust in the Conservative Party at the general election. Johnson voiced his frustration at parliament interfering with government plans to take the UK out of the European Union and said a Conservative Party majority after the December 12th election would put an end to the uncertainty. Speaking outside of his official residence at 10 Downing Street in London, the Prime Minister said: "This delay is now bad for the country and for the economy."
