Spain's Socialist Party has been dealing with an internal "coup" attempt this week after half of its leadership quit in a bid to oust leader Pedro Sanchez and unblock the country's political deadlock. Sanchez says he will step down Saturday if the party votes to pursue a coalition with interim Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy's Conservatives, which he has blocked for months.
