Transport Minister Alexander Dobrindt has called on state-run rail operator Deutsche Bahn to add free high-speed internet to all its regional and local train services. As of January, first-class passengers in DB intercity (ICE) services can connect to on-board Wi-Fi for free. Second-class passengers will have to wait until 2016.
