"What's dangerous about conspiracies is that it hampers sincere mobilization," Mahjoubi, who cited researchers who claim ties between the protests and the "Alt-Right" in the US and in European nations. It's been widely reported that the protesters come not only from the conservative Right, but also from France's Socialists and hard Left.

#FRANCE: 12-Year-Old Rioters Arrested By Police Sparks Outrage; Paris Descends Into Chaos Over Climate Change Taxes

Child rioters, some as young as 12-years-old, were among 153 arrested at a single high school as violent protests over the President’s climate change tax hikes threaten all-out anarchy in Paris. Footage showed riot police guarding the youngsters from the Lycée Saint-Exupéry high school in Mante-la-Jolie - 30 miles west of the capital. The officers are heard shouting at the children and threatening them with violent disorder charges. The pictures will no doubt further hurt Pres. Emmanuel Macron, whose attempt to impose steep taxes on fuel to avert "climate change" has resulted in an approval rating of 18%.

Violent riots continue to rock Paris as yellow vest-wearing protesters demonstrate against Pres. Emmanuel Macron's fuel tax hikes. Police believe both Leftist and Right-wing parties are taking advantage of the riots, sparked by the increasingly unpopular Macron's attempt to tackle 'climate change' by hiking fuel prices to discourage the use of carbon-based fuels. France already has among the highest priced fuel in Europe. Macron said last week that he understood the anger people felt over the rise in fuel tax. He promised three months of national talks on how to transform France into a low-carbon economy without penalizing people on low incomes who had to drive to work, who are among those who would be hardest hit by the tax increase.

#FRANCE: Paris' Socialist Mayor To Sue FOX News Over "No-Go Zones" Comments

Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo says her city will sue FOX News after it broadcast interviews asserting there are “no-go zones” in the French capital where police and non-Muslims won't go. A French TV show safely sent reporters into the zones, interviewing long-time residents to mock the claims, which FOX recanted.
