Rebel News reporter Selene Galas asked Alberta Premier Danielle Smith when we can expect a promised apology for those prosecuted during the lockdowns. Smith replied “I can apologize right now.” She went on to say she's considering a general amnesty for those arrested for breaking curfews during the lockdown.
Smith was elected leader of the United Conservative Party of Alberta earlier this month and took office on the 11th of October. Former premier Jason Kenney resigned earlier this year prompting a leadership race within the province's party.
