As tens of thousands of migrant refugees crowded hastily-built camps, Hungary's parliament Friday rushed through legislation that cracks down on those who violate its borders. The laws give more power to police to deal with the crisis, including prison time of up to three years for illegally crossing Hungary’s border and penalties for damaging newly-installed razor-wire border fences.
