#HUNGARY: Far-Right Jobbik Party Wins By-Election, Defeating Governing Party's Candidate

[world politics news]

Putting aside its usual anti-Semitic and anti-Roma rhetoric, the far-right Jobbik party, focusing on an anti-corruption platform, defeated  the governing Fidesz Party's candidate in a by-election. In the western Hungary's Tapolca riding, long dominated by Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz party, Jobbik edged out its candidate by one percent.
