#ISRAEL: Prime Minister Netanyahu Indicted

Attorney General Mandelblit announced an indictment Thursday against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, making him the first prime minister in Israeli history to be indicted while still in office.

The indictment decision could alter the course of negotiations over forming a new government and who will be the new prime minister in the current 21 days Knesset process on the issue.

The editor of the Jerusalem Post, Yaakov Katz, urged Netanyahu to resign from office, even though the nation's constitution, the Basic Law, allows prime ministers to remain in power even if indicted.

#TAIWAN: Three Members Of Pro-China Political Party Charged With Setting Up Spy Network For China

Taiwan prosecutors indicted the spokesman for a pro-China political party, his father, and two other members for allegedly seeking to recruit Taiwan military officers on behalf of China and violating the National Security Act. The Taipei District Prosecutors' Office said New Party they had acted on behalf of China to recruit a network in Taiwan that included government officials and students. It's alleged that the group listened to instructions from the Chinese government’s Taiwan Affairs Office to form groups and websites in December 2014
