Shortly after announcing reserve general Hamilton Mourao as his vice-presidential candidate, Rio de Janeiro congressman and presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro said that if elected, his cabinet will be filled with "a bunch of" military personnel, noting that they were harder to corrupt. The right-leaning candidate admires Pres. Trump, and has come under fire for anti-gay and anti-woman comments during the campaign, along with his praise for the military government which ruled Brazil from 1964 through 1985.
