Kuwait’s parliament Wednesday backed legislation including 10-year jail terms for creating websites for terror groups and fines of up to $165,000 for online crimes. Several MPs warned the law is really aimed at curbing freedom of speech, and will send many Kuwaitis to jail for speaking against the government.
