A politician in South Africa has accused rival politicians of trying to turn part of South Africa into a ‘Zionist’ state by supporting Israel in the face of Hamas aggression on October 7.

In a debate after the country’s State Of The Nation speech from President Cyril Ramphosa, South African Member of Parliament Ahmed Munzoor Shaik Emam accused the moderate opposition party the Democratic Alliance Party of handing Cape Town to “Zionists.”

#ISRAEL Brazil's Ambassador To Israel Called In For Scolding After President Compares. Gaza War To Holocaust

Brazil’s ambassador to Israel was called for a reprimand after the country’s leader compared Israel’s war on Hamas to Hitler’s Holocaust against the Jews in the 1930s and 1940s.

Hamas, group the U.S. and Israel, and a few others call a terror group, launched an attack on Israel on October 11 last year, killing 13,000, bringing an angry Military response from Irael.

#RUSSIA: Parliament To Vote On Leaving OSCE Security Org. That Counts Ukraine, U.S. As Members

Russia's parliament will vote on Feb. 21 on suspending the country's participation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Co-operation (OSCE), Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said.

The OSCE, which counts Ukraine, the U.S. and Russia among its 57-members, is the successor to a Cold War-era organization for Soviet and Western powers to engage. Since Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the organization has been largely paralyzed by Moscow's ongoing use of the effective veto each country has.

CANADA: Gov't Exends Foreign Housing Purchase Ban to 2027

The federal government is extending its ban on foreign home purchasing in Canada, Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland announced in a release on Sunday.

The rule, which was first announced in 2022, will now be extended until the beginning of 2027. It bans foreign nationals and commercial enterprises from buying residential property in Canada, with exceptions for some international students, refugee claimants and temporary workers.

UK: PM to Announce Teen Vaping Ban

Disposable vapes are set to be banned in Britain as part of plans to tackle the rise in young people vaping and protect children’s health.
