#KUWAIT: First Female Security Unit Assigned To Protect National Assembly

The first female security personnel have been assigned to guard Kuwait's National Assembly, a move widely seen as a victory for women's empowerment in Kuwait. After reaching several key positions within the public and private domains, the ambition to be included in the state’s security and armed forces took years to achieve. Fourteen female cadets are being trained to join the current force.
