Kosovo MPs spent more than five hours debating the mysterious death in prison of the opposition activist Astrit Dehari while demonstrators rallied outside the parliament. MPs from the ruling coalition of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, PDK, and the Democratic League of Kosovo, LDK, had earlier refused to discuss the matter on the grounds that they were awaiting the official forensic report. Both parties backed a motion stating that if the family required extra expertise from the EU or the US, the authorities would pay for it.
