Japan's parliament has approved a record 96.34 trillion yen ($803.45 billion) budget for fiscal 2015 which started April 1. Passage of the budget was delayed by the general election last Dec. 14 called by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to seek a public mandate for postponing a tax hike.
