The “Ganja Law” was passed by both Houses of Parliament in February and went into effect April 15, It acknowledges the constitutional rights of the Rastafari community, who use marijuana as a sacrament, paves the way for the emergence of a lawful, regulated medicinal and industrial marijuana industry.
