Scottish Labour Party Leader Jim Murphy will resign next month despite narrowly surviving a vote of no confidence, a sign of the parties inner turmoil. Murphy lost his seat in last week's general election as the SNP won 56 of the 59 Scottish seats, leaving Labour with a single Scottish MP in the UK's parliament.
