Sinn Féin representatives on South Dublin County Council have objected to the proposal to name an overpass after a journalist killed in gang violence, saying it would "create a hierarchy of victims" of gangland crime. The idea of naming the overpass in Dublin is supported by the nation's transportation secretary.
