#AUSTRALIA: Changes To Racial Discrimination Act Would Mean No Longer Illegal To "Insult" Or "Offend" Based On Race

A parliamentary committee has ruled that a change in Australia's Racial Discrimination Act proposed by Sen. Bob Day to remove the words "insult" and "offend" would not contravene treaties. Removing the words mean it would no longer be a crime to offend or insult someone based on their racial background.
