Sebastian Edathy, a former member of parliament, said he wants to return to Germany to marry after years in self-imposed exile after accusations of possessing child pornography. He had ordered pictures of children from a Canadian firm in 2005, but the pictures were later deemed legal under German law. That didn't keep scandal at bay, however, and the former rising star of the Social Democratic Party was politically ruined by the accusations.
