For the first time in the history of Pakistan, the country will get public holidays on Holi, Diwali and Easter after its parliament adopted a resolution to this effect. The government said it would approve the resolution. Holi is the popular end-of-Winter festival of colors and sharing love, while Diwali is the festival of lights celebrated in November. Both are now celebrated around the world in many cultures.
