Briefly interim president of Zambia after Pres. Sata's death in October, Guy Scott has been fired by newly-elected Pres. Lungu. He was the first white leader on the continent since apartheid ended 20 years ago. Scott was replaced as VP by Inonge Wina, chairwoman of the ruling Patriotic Front.
