Prime Minister Theresa May is threatening to call an early "snap" parliamentary election after a court ruled that parliament must vote on whether to institute "Article 50" which would start the "Brexit" procedure for the UK to leave the European Union. Threat of a new election might force those in parliament who opposed the Brexit referendum to re-think their strategy.
