Polish voters handed an absolute majority in its parliamentary election to the Law and Justice Party, a Euro-skeptic party that is against immigration, is vigorously pro-NATO, wants family-focused welfare spending, and has threatened to ban abortion. It's leader, Jaroslaw Kaczynski, has suffered years of political setbacks and personal tragedy.
