Labour European Parliament candidate Cyrus Engerer was given a two-year jail sentence, suspended for two years, for distributing pornographic material.
He had been elected as an MEP in a November, 2020 special election.
A judge found that Engerer had distributed compromising pictures of a former lover to the lover's work colleagues via email.
