#BOTSWANA: Supreme Court Strikes Down Laws Against Homosexuality

Botswana’s high court has overturned colonial-era laws that criminalized homosexuality, saying they were unconstitutional.

Judges in the southern African nation unanimously ruled on the decision during LGBTQ Pride month, moving away from more than two dozen sub-Saharan African countries with anti-same-sex laws.
