The European Union's chief Brexit negotiator, Guy Verhofstadt has sparked outrage after saying that Brexit may only be temporary and said, "I have no doubt that one day a young politician will lead the UK back into the EU, where it belongs." He said he believes Britain’s departure from the bloc will have a "negative" affect on business, young people and EU citizens. The Belgian politician has been a member of the EU's parliament since 2009.
